Coaxial Network Cables:

Coaxial Network Cables:

In their onset, these cables were used to connect television sets to home antennas. As the time flows, these cables become a standard for 10 Mbps Ethernet cables due to their noise reduction capabilities. Typically there are two types of Coaxial cables: Thinnet (10Base2, i.e. 10 Mbps up to 200 Meter) and Thicknet (10Base5, i.e. 10 Mbps up to 500 Meter). These cables are comprised of inner copper wire of varying thickness, protected by a PVC insulation coating. The design of the cable provides protection to the data signal from external electromagnetic interference, hence reduces the power loss in transmission. A good coaxial table can be used to transmit any kind of signals such as HDTV, videos, CCTV, and much more.
